My BFF went under the knife today to have a lap band done. Im excited for her and i wanted to come home after visiting with her and post my weight loss journey so far here.... I guess the easies way to do it is to post a link to my journal. Please feel free to read it and comment on it. Some is kinda embarasing but it might help someone make the decision for themself one day...

- Im 40 years old, I have 2 kids and a wonderful husband from Australia. I like to try new things but at the same time im happy with the same old routine. I had Gastric bypass surgery on Aug 4th 2004 and i now celebrate that date as my second birthdate. Im still struggeling to loose all of my weight but i have come down from 402 to 269. Like i said, i still have some to go, but atleast now i can live life instead of just watch it go by.
